Some factual things.

the fact is, the kid who used to sit behind you in elementary school could die tomorrow. and you might not expect to care because you've never really been close to him, and you haven't spoken to him or heard from him in years. it wasn't like he was someone important in your life , someone who was holding your brain from falling apart. but you can't deny that his death still means something to you. that you just can't seem get it out of your head that he used to sit behind you and now he's gone.

the fact is, you could be an amazing person. you could be beautiful and intelligent and hardworking. you could have good upbringing, could love with your whole heart-- every bit of you could be interesting. but it doesn't mean it will make you visible. it doesn't mean people will even so much as look at you.

the fact is, a little voice in your head could be telling you that you need professional help, that you need medication. and years later, when a psychologist confirms that little voice that's been nagging, it doesn't mean you're going to get any.

and the fact is, your life could be fine. your family, friends, school and lover could all be in their right places. there could be no drama, there could be nothing wrong.

and the fact is, you could spend all your time feeling like there is.
